This structure was used in several different locations around Jacob's Region (The Whitetail Mountains) in Far Cry 5. My contribution was modelling the large cabin, which was reused for multiple settings. The structure consisted of the main house, along with add-on porches, railings, and awnings. The texturing on the cabin incorporates tiling textures, and blending between two different textures for visual fidelity. The texture pass was handled by the very talented Shelley Liu. And a big thank you to the rest of the team, our leads Hyoyong Koo and Judy Suh, and everyone involved in world building for creating an amazing and beautiful game world that we can all be proud to have worked on.
