XDefiant: MSMC

I had the pleasure of creating the MSMC SMG for XDefiant. My responsibilities for this asset was to take it from placeholder stage to final L3 art, along with rigging in Maya and integration into our game engine Snowdrop. After the initial art pass I created concept mockups for damage and various elements such as the tape, zip-ties and glowsticks in order to align with the game's weapon design language. This was a very challenging and rewarding asset to work on, requiring tons of research and complex modelling work.
